We back! (Took me long enough)
If you’ve been following me on IG, you’ll recognize most of the work here. What’s probably not too familiar are some of the work-in-progress, rough sketches and early loose explorations, which I’ve been squeezing in to each page I’ll be making. Coming soon after that will be organizing all this stuff into specific projects (believe it or not, they are!), and getting things even more focused. I wanted to get my own site up so I have a place to categorize everything to my liking.
The auto-drawing above was created about 5 years ago. I couldn’t find a way to find image properties in Procreate, so I’m relying on my memory. I was making these every single day for a little while, some days I was more “on” than others. I’ve picked up the practice again lately, and it’s been a lot more “on.” And more detailed. I’ll show those after I share the older stuff.
Reviewing this image again for the first time in years (I pretty much never look at these after I finish them), there’s a fixation on eyeballs, puffy loud-like shapes, the front of a car w/ a sad/scary face, part of a bee, and some butt cheeks. Can never get enough butt-cheeks.
