Eh, I got tired of looking at the automatic drawings from 4 years ago and decided it’s best to stay focused on the present. Here’s one from this past week!
Can people even tell what’s going on in these? I don’t bother to clean them up. Normally I just fart these out as a warm-up for other work I’m preparing for, as this is a really good way to loosen up and shake the goofiness out. Or tap into the goofiness, whichever one fits the goal. Last night, I caught myself working on one of these with a little too much contrivance, not enough feeling. I’ll show it later, but there were some “less-than-perfect” bits in there that I wanted to erase and try again. That’s always the danger of trying to stay consistent about something, especially if you’re putting it out for everyone to see. There’s such a delicate balance between staying on target, being totally free and honest, and that natural desire to improve. Glad I caught myself!
